This was my first time staying at the Historic Windsor Hotel, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. Vicki at the front desk helped me check in and made sure all my needs were met—she was very friendly and professional, which really set the tone for my stay. The hotel itself is full of charm and history, with beautiful architecture and a great atmosphere. I also stopped by the bar on the second floor for a few drinks and some food—it was a relaxing spot with great service. If you’re in the Americus area, especially for business like I was, I highly recommend staying here. I definitely plan to return on my next trip!
Beautiful historic hotel. So glad we stayed. Free parking outside door of hotel. Wonderful design and furnishings. Room was very comfotable. Check-in staff great. Happy they had nice restaurant for dinner. Food very nice, but unfortunately service very poor. Breakfast food and service was excellent. Overall, what a great experience. Reasonable price too.
This is a must stay property. Beautifully and meticulously restored grand hotel. It is a jewel in the restored and walkable downtown area of Americus. Our room was ample with a large bathroom and walk-in closet. We enjoyed the outdoor terrace at the lounge overlooking the beautiful business area. Breakfast at the restaurant was excellent. The staff was wonderful and very engaging. We also enjoyed the historical throwback booth!
Very Cool Hotel. Built in the 1800s, it is a gem of the South and Old Town Americas GA. This hotel is a must go to for visitors in the region. It has numerous bars and resturants within and nearby which make it a great place to stay for a few nights!
Excellent food & drinks at both Floyd’s and Rosemary & Thyme! All staff are professional, helpful, kind and good at their jobs. Our room was very nice, even if we couldn’t wheel the luggage cart all the way to our door due to a few steps we had to traverse when we got to our hallway on the 3rd floor. Best of all, the Gen Mgr was prompt and thorough in responding to a couple of concerns we discussed with him. We’ll be back!
Windsor Hotel, Americus, GA exceeded expectations. Downtown, free parking. Historic Victorian. Lovely room. Enjoyed fabulous cocktails on outdoor patio. Dinner in beautiful Rosemary & Thyme restaurant was upscale, supper club quality & very reasonably priced. Breakfast in restaurant was also great. All staff, bartenders, wait staff were superior. Bed/bedding/pillows were a cloud of comfort. We were treated like "royalty" at Windsor Hotel, Americus, GA. Thank You.

These two young ladies were absolutely amazing. From the moment I arrived, they were welcoming, professional, and genuinely helpful in every way. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of and did so with positive attitudes and great energy. Their customer service was top-tier, and it truly made my stay more enjoyable and stress-free. Kennedy and Kamiya are a true asset to the Windsor Hotel. If you’re staying here, you’re in great hands with them at the front desk. I truly appreciate their help and highly recommend this hotel because of the service they provided.
The Windsor Hotel is an entire experience. The architecture is gorgeous and the ambience invites you to relax and enjoy your stay. We found the service excellent and the food good. It sits in a lovely downtown area full of Southern charm. We hope to stay again very soon!
